Frequently Asked Questions

What does a chiropractor do?

A chiropractor helps restore your body’s natural alignment so it can heal from within. By focusing on the nervous system, chiropractic care relieves pain at its source and supports overall wellness and function — not just temporary relief.

When your spine is aligned, your body functions at its best. Chiropractic adjustments help remove interference in the nervous system, improving mobility, reducing tension, and allowing your body to heal naturally. We also provide nutritional and supplement guidance to support lasting wellness.

What happens during my first visit?

Your first visit includes a consultation, digital X-rays, and a thorough exam to identify the root cause of your symptoms. Once your results are reviewed, Dr. Reid will explain your findings and recommend a personalized plan for care.

Why are X-rays an important part of your care?

We believe quality care starts with clarity. Our on-site X-ray machine allows us to see exactly what’s happening beneath the surface — from spinal misalignments to joint degeneration — so we can design the most effective care plan for you.

What conditions can chiropractic care help with?

We treat a wide range of conditions — from back and neck pain to headaches, sciatica, injuries, chronic pain, postural issues, digestive issues, hormonal health, car accident injuries, and the list goes on. Many patients notice improvements in energy, sleep, and overall well-being as their body finds realignment.

How many sessions will I need?

Every body heals differently. After your X-rays and exam, Dr. Reid crafts a plan that moves beyond symptom relief to long-term resilience, with care paced to your body’s healing timeline

Does Dr. Reid offer walk-in chiropractic care?

No. Dr. Reid treats the whole person—body, lifestyle, and goals—so he books dedicated time for each patient. That first visit is a deep dive: we review your health history, do a hands-on exam with posture and movement checks, and take X-rays. Then we talk through your expectations and map out a plan that fits your life.

If you’re in acute pain, give us a call. We’ll do our best to fit you in for a consultation the same day.
